The sumptuous and gorgeous costumes and film art almost evoke thrill of physical instinct, explosive acting and accent, and unique zen flavor of costume dramas all tangle nostrils. Legs, actors Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes So fit role of a couple who share same bed and different dreams. Not only do they have a mismatch in appearance and lack of a chemical reaction, but even minor roles are sparks splashing at each other. The effect is very wonderful. Sensational transition, but directorial skill is lost due to visual stimulation.

The film is interesting and not bad. Interestingly enough, inner world of "Emma" seems to have never been explored. Perhaps all films set in distant time periods are ultimately about era in which they were made, and not era they were supposed to represent. But it wasn't obvious after film's release.
